Thank you so much to all of you who responded on my instagram post about how to sleep better while pregnant!   I got lots of great ideas, and if nothing else, it is always good to know I'm not alone.  I do feel like this week has finally been better; maybe it is third trimester tired-ness setting in?

I do feel like having a routine before bed does help.  Taking a warm shower, and then reading a bit before attempting to nod off helps me shut down and sort of erase the day.  Chip and I try to go to bed at the same time every night; I really feel like it's a really great way to keep us on the same page, but I was finding some nights I'd keep him up with the lights on while I read.  I bought that gorgeous lamp to give me a little light so he can nod off when I'm not quite ready, and it's been so helpful.

And, goodness, all the talking!  Girls talk so much, don't they?  Do boys talk as much?  I am an introvert by nature, and I cherish the quiet.  I find that endlessly answering questions and conversing wears me out and sets me on edge, and sometimes I find a tone creeping into my voice that I don't like.  I'm working on it, but it's a challenge for me right now.  I'd love to hear if you have any tips on how to manage that well!!

The new Chvrches album | This fall vest | These shoes | This maternity tank for layering (seriously, it's the best, and I don't know why I have a hard time finding them online!  I have it in four colors) | This movie (just loved the look of the whole thing!  Not the best story ever in the world, but it's beautiful!)
