I have to do a little feature on two of Vivi's new favorite things.  Last week, Chip and I bought her a jumper for the doorway, and it has been quite the hit!  She stays entertained in it longer than anything else I can find (that is her above, and yes, that is the pack and play in our kitchen - I was trying to find a way to keep her entertained while I cook, and the jumper does the trick, for sure!).  The one we have has a crinkly mat that makes music, although I think she just likes the crinkly-crunchy sound more than anything.  Her other favorite item is the mesh baby feeder since her first two little teeth have poked through her bottom gums.  She loves the finely crushed ice.  I think it makes them feel better (and it makes me feel better driving her around in this 90+ Georgia heat!).  Soon I hope to try other fun treats in it, like vegetables or fruit, but we aren't quite there yet.

This week we are taking a little family vacation with my parents. We are in Williamsburg, Virginia, and little Vivi made the entire 9 hour trip in a day!  I really wasn't sure what to expect.  I used one of the Ikea pink boxes from her bookshelf and filled it with her favorite toys, which made it easier to keep her occupied when she wasn't napping.  Below is my little peanut in front of the peanut shop sign . . .
