I keep getting questions about the above wall mounted bookshelf, so I wanted to re-share the details for those of you interested! It's a really fun, inexpensive way to display books and keep them within easy reach. My dad constructed this for me and we love it. Click here to download a PDF with the details. (See more of this room here and here.)
(sources from above: vintage boy scout backpack on vintage arrow; similar tole chandeliers; pouf; bedding; scout blanket; The Best Nest; The Horse Who; Afternoon Cat; Fly Went By; Play Radio; wall color is Benjamin Moore's Lido Green; curtains are paint drop cloths with white pom pom trim sewn along the edge)
We also have one in the girls' room at home. The books add such a fun punch of color to rooms, and it's easy for the little ones to put them back. It's also nice to be able to put more fragile/paper books up high, and board books down low if you have toddlers that love to tear paper!
Hope this is helpful! Let me know if you have questions! (download file here!)
